EduConnect (“EduConnect,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of the schools, candidates, and visitors who engage with us. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you hold over it.
This policy is issued in accordance with Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

EduConnect is a recruitment partner for international schools.

From candidates:
- Identity and contact details (name, email, phone, nationality, location)
- Professional information (CV, employment history, qualifications, references)
- Information you share during interviews and conversations
- Any documents you provide to support an application (e.g. certificates, dipolomas, etc.)
From schools:
- Contact details of your representatives
- Information about the roles, requirements, and institutional context you share with us
From website visitors:
- Technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, collected through cookies or analytics — include this only if your site actually uses them.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To match candidates to suitable roles at the schools we work with
- To carry out screening, conversations, and profile assessment
- To communicate with candidates and schools throughout a search
- To support candidates with settling into Morocco and integration, where relevant
- To meet our legal and contractual obligations
- To send occasional updates about relevant opportunities, where you have agreed to receive them
We process candidate data on the basis of your consent and our legitimate interest in providing recruitment services. You may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 7).
4. Sharing Your Data
We share candidate information with the schools we are matching you to.
We do not sell your data. We may share it with:
- Schools engaged in a relevant search
- Service providers who support our operations (e.g. email, secure storage), bound by confidentiality.
5. International Transfers
Where we share data across borders — for example, with a school or candidate located outside Morocco — we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with Law 09-08 and, where applicable, CNDP requirements for cross-border transfers.
6. How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law.
7. Your Rights
Under Law 09-08, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Object to processing, or request that we delete your data
- Withdraw consent at any time

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access. Access is limited to those who need it to do their work.
