From principals to key stage leaders, we recruit across the roles that shape an international school. These are the appointments that outlast a single year — the people who build culture, raise standards, and leave institutions stronger than they found them. Each search is handled with the depth that kind of impact demands.
School Leadership
The appointments that set an institution’s direction. We identify Heads of School, Headteachers, and Directors who hold a school’s vision, lead its people, and answer to governors, trustees, and the wider community. For British schools, that means leaders fluent in inspection frameworks such as BSO and in working with a board of governors. For American schools, it means leaders experienced in accreditation through bodies such as NEASC or Cognia and in partnership with a board of trustees.
Academic Leadership
The bridge between strategy and the classroom. We source Deputy Heads, Directors of Studies, and Division Principals who turn academic vision into curriculum, standards, and consistent delivery. In British schools, they oversee the pathway from EYFS through IGCSE and A-Levels. In American schools, they lead from Elementary through High School, including AP programmes, standards alignment, and the US diploma.
Department and Phase Leadership
Where academic quality is held day to day. We find Heads of Department, Key Stage Leaders, Department Chairs, and Grade-Level Leads who raise teaching standards, develop their teams, and keep outcomes steady across year groups. Each brings direct experience of the assessment culture they’ll lead within, from GCSE and A-Level results in British schools to AP scores and standardised testing such as MAP in American ones.
